Just got the unit running for my first MOAB trip. Works awesome. Few things the unit needs at least 10amps of 12v. My suggestion is if you are replacing an old duo system get a 15amp power supply and use the left over 120v circuit to power. As well I had an issue with a bypass hose that was hooked up in the bathroom by previous owner. You may also need to purge gas line if it is air filled. In all I am very happy with this unit. Have noticed if you have too much water flow it will not heat the water to full temp. I used the discharge valve to slow down the water and mixed with more cold to get desired temp. This required a higher temp setting to achieve.

The directions were clear and we had no problems with the install. What a wonderful product!!! We now have as much hot shower water as we can use as opposed to the 10-gallon conventional water heater we replaced. Very nice and appreciated. We contacted the company via email and received a rapid response. Thank you.

Works as should. Easy install. Had a dual propane & electric tank unit prior, just tied into 12V power from propane switch and everything worked as it should. Impressed with this unit.

Does not operate as advertised or expected. Keeps raising temp to the point of scalding. Does not mix well when adjusted. Customer service no help with the units operation failures.

Best upgrade we've done to the camper so far. No more 3-5 minute showers. The only thing, and it isn't even an issue, is that sometimes it'll give an error code when doing the dishes because of turning it off and on i think. I just hit the power button and turn it back on and it goes away and I'm able to use it fine again.

Had to cut and adjust the propane line, figure out the 12v wiring because my old unit had 3 wires(none of which were ground), and had to reroute the pex water lines a bit so they would line up. I also repurposed the unused 110v wiring into an extra outlet. It might line up better for some people, but if you don't know how to use a multimeter or adjust copper and/or water lines, I would suggest getting a professional or a buddy that does to help.Only been on one trip since install and it seems to work great so far. My wife said she noticed a little fluctuation in hot/cold after it has been running for a bit, but I tried and couldn't replicate it. Will update if we run into issues in the future.

I am a full-time RV er. And a experienced technician. I chose this unit because of combination of advertised performance and price. I installed this in my older 5th wheel trailer. The installation was straight foward. The fittings were all correct and the advertised size of the unit was proper. The unit came clean with no damage properly packaged. the only issue that I had was that the control cable was too short. The control unit should be in bathroom . In my trailer it and the water heater are at opposite ends of trailer. The company quickly sent me an extension at no charge. They quickly answered my question within hours and had a solution for me. One thing about these units, you need to use just the hot water side only when showering And adjust the temperature properly with the control panel So that you don't have spikes of cold and hot water. Been using unit for a few weeks and very happy with it. Saves huge on propane not keeping a tank of water hot 24/7. Heats up fast and even. Do recommend this product.
