This was my first time ever installing one of these. It didn't come with any directions. But none were needed! It was easy. Probably took me between 30 and 40 minutes. If you can assemble a simple cardboard puzzle and do RV'ing, I believe you can install this. Just remember to wrap each gas pipe fitting 3 or 4 times around with the included gas (yellow) Teflon tape. The kit includes plenty of it. I've used that before and it can be a little fidgety to wrap neatly around the fittings. You need to think which way the fitting will be turned as you install it, if you wrap the correct direction the Teflon tape wont bunch up on you. Instead it will stay nicely around the fitting because installation actually drags in the direction of WITH your wrap. That's about the toughest thing you may face. The kit also comes with an thin, included wrench, however I just used my own.I also found the fitting sizes employed are key sizes such that if you have a decent set of EITHER Metric or SAE wrenches you can install this.I'll add, when it came time to install the main feed hose at the bottom of the regulator, at first I thought it didn't fit! However, apparently these "gas type" fittings are very precisely machined and are tighter than your average screw or bolt. It fit tight and absolutely perfectly instead!I continue to find it interesting just how "standardized" RV'ing components actually are.Installation went very smoothly. But I did have to put in certain screws in, in a different sequence, a couple of times. That slowed me down a bit.It was also nice they took the time to carefully cover or wrap all the hose ends to keep contaminates out of them. The kit is very nice quality and inspires confidence. I had no detectable leaks after installing. It was nicer than my old one in that each hose has its own fuel-level gauge. And I found them to be fully visible through the top of my standard dual tank's cover opening too. My old setup, I had to remove the entire cover just to check it.All in all, I'm very happy with the results this kit provides. The hose lengths supplied are also very generous and braided steel covered, rather than just rubber ones like my old setup was.I feel it's a very good value for the price (as of time of this writing). And is also of very high quality in general. No complaints! I like it.

This 2-Stage Auto Changeover Rv Propane Regulator allows us to hook up to two tanks and the gauge shows the LP level. It does switch over automatically when one of the tanks is out of fuel. There are brass, stainless steel parts as well as braided lines. The set comes with everything you need to hook up too. The gauge is easy to read. So far no issues with leaks but will know more when its under heavy use. It was easy to hook up. I am happy with my purchase.

As advertised. Easy to install, functionality as described, fit as expected value for the money, had no issues yet with any leakage or any other drawbacks. Nice to have two propane tanks to our very active grill, less changing of tanks. As the saying goes, "two is one, and one is none" so, with two propane tanks hooked up to our grill made things at our old age, life a little easier and less trip to refill one tank or propane. Storage capacity is no issues when you have two tanks hooked up.

First one had a slow leak on the gauge. It leaked the whole 30lb tank out. More than the cost of the cheap China product.

If you have a portable propane generator that is necessary to keep on hand in case of an emergency, you will want to order this. It is much more efficient than hooking up a new bottle each time you run out or if the load sequence restarts on its own. The crazy weather is the best reason to order it, especially as a backup. Here’s why: 1) This will connect the two gas bottles to your generator, so you can swap out tanks quickly without interrupting power. 2) Each gas line has a gauge so you can monitor the level and switch bottles effectively. 3) It allows you to easily swap an empty bottle for a full one. It's more efficient to do this than shutting down the generator each time.

This regulator seems sturdy and well-made. It comes with two short propane whips, tape, and a mounting bracket. IT is a nice set for anyone who owns an RV and needs to replace a regulator. These parts are often overlooked ,but it is always a good idea to have a spare on hand should you even need one. This unit does the job and is a cost effective upgrade.
