STEP 1: Confirm that each screw hole on the cover is the right size. STEP 2: Align the metal crossbar, hinge and vent cover holes. STEP 3: Install the screws. First install the 2 screws that the overlap holes of metal crossbar, hinge and cover (for positioning). STEP 4: Install the white rubber washer. STEP 5: Install the small nut. STEP 6: Tighten all screws.

TIPS:
- You can hold the nut with your finger or other tools, then tighten the screw with a screwdriver.

STEP 1: Remove the crank rocker arm. STEP 2: Remove the vent base cover. STEP 3: Remove the wire screen. STEP 4: Remove the crank. STEP 5: Pry off the tab of the hinge and remove the old broken vent cover.

TIPS:
- Raise the RV roof vent cover before removing it. Steps 1 to 4 are completed inside the RV, and step 5 is completed on the RV roof.
- If your RV vents have electrical devices such as small fans, disconnect the power before you begin disassembly.
