Easy install with locking mailbox- was screwed to wooden base and buried.

The pedestal seems to be well built, but I was hoping to have the necessary bit and anchors ready before it got, but no mention of the hole size in the base plate. So, I'll save someone a little trouble. The base plate it made to take a 1/2" bolt, thus, 1/2" anchor bolt.
