This device really works good. I have some very expensive mics hooked up to my iPhone through this device. You can also monitor the volume level that your recording through via headphones. Works perfect for YouTube and Facebook. It really increases the sound quality that you can’t get just out of an iPhone

The device seems to work as intended with my iPhone 11 Pro, but two big issues:1. the sound quality is poor; the A/D converter sounds robotic; softer, high frequencies sound especially harsh and granulated2. requires a 9-Volt battery to operate; not self-powered by the Lightning interface; “batteries not included” was not clearly stated in the product descriptionAnd a few more issues, which I believe is not so much a problem with this device, as the iOS audio system:3. missing the ability to monitor the input using a different output (not the headphone jack on the device)4. the headphone jack’s play/rec switch setting is odd, and headphone output level is too high (not adjustable)This device is overpriced, and to me useless because of the poor audio quality. I’m hanging on to it as an emergency sound injection tool, but not happy with it. Cannot recommend at all.

I've bought this product 3 times1 : 3.5mm jack version2 pcs : lightning port versionabout 3.5mm jack versionI think it is the best one really budget in priceI used it about 2 years now ( 3.5 version ) and still functioning without any complainreally it is the best deal if you've 3.5mm port in your device.but what I think about this adapter is better to be used with dynamic microphonesI tried it on more than one condenser microphones but the result on the dynamic one is far far better.

Works great with the Filmic Pro ios app. Seems like a fairly noise pre amp. But and the volume control is loud even when the knob is turned all the way down. I use phantom power and love it for what I shoot with my phone. I shoot weekly green screen videos in a studio.

Great little mixer for shooting video with 2 mics on your iPhone. This has 3.5mm mic inputs that accept TRS mic plugs, and most importatly it will record stereo sound so you can have 2 actor's lavalieres on separate channels for better editing. You can't get stereo sound with a TRRS cable, so if that's important to you then you need to shell out a little more for something like this.Note that the little green display is just a sticker (no big deal), and it requires a 9-volt battery (nbd but be prepared). Also you need to switch from REC to PLAY to hear either live audio or playback (respectively) through the mixer's headphone jack.
