Out of the blue my one year old PC build would disconnect from power. I quickly realized that my PSU power cable just wasn't making a tight connection. Plus the end that plugs in to the PSU was drooping which wasn't helping. I saw this power cable and thought I'd give it a shot and I'm glad I did - it's so much better than the one that came with the PSU.It has a much tighter connection plugging it in to the PSU and no drooping or sagging whatsoever. I like that it's plenty long too because it gives me more options where I can put my PC in a room with only two outlets. Every once and a while I check the connection at the PSU and it's been nice and tight every since I put it in. A high quality cable that's been powering my PC without issue. Since I haven't had an issue running it with my PC I'd be confident using this cable for just about anything.

There's not much to say, it's a power cable. It has the "Mickey Ears" end on it, which is what I need for my laptop power supply. I needed a longer than usual cable since I put my laptop on the far corner of my "L" desk when I'm using it (I use a desktop mostly at home, but sometimes have to transfer files, etc, and need my laptop going). This 15 foot cord allows me to put my laptop anywhere. It gets the job done, and I expect it will last for a very long time, it is very sturdy and thick.

I did some moving around of items, and it put a huge Lexmark commercial printer in a position where it was further away from the plug. I also need to route the wires upward towards the ceiling to go to an outlet I installed near the ceiling for all my network/wifi components. Sure, you could throw an extension cord on the end of a short power cable, but I'd want to keep the same gauge of wiring, and also keep it as good looking as possible. This plugged right in, had no power issues, and goes straight from the printer to the wall without the need for an additional extension cord. In fact, I had a battery backup that the modem and router was plugged into. After plugging the printer in, the power consumption was too much for the battery backup and it shut off. So, I had to use the second wall outlet for my printer, just because it uses that much power. It works well for this, and the plug feels of good factory quality.

I ordered the 15 foot cable to test it with a AirSpeed 5000 so I could move it around easier as I was running a shorter cable. This works great, I have also tested it with a computer - this also worked great for this application, would recommend if you needed a longer cable and didn't want to use an extension cord.

This is a good replacement cable to power a desktop. The female prongs have a generous tolerance, and the male prongs correctly have the assymetrical sizes to fit correctly in a US style plug. The plug has proper casing and should last well as a commodity replacement for an OEM plug.

I own a motion picture and video production company and use a wide range of lighting equipment. When the power cables fail, these cables are a great replacement. They fit the IEC socket perfectly and 15' is the ideal length for studio work. They come, like most cables, coiled in a figure 8 and I keep my cables in a round coil. I lay them out in the sun when it's warm out for an hour or two and that relaxes the jacket enough to wrap them into a nice round coil.

My gaming computer had to be relocated after moving and the close's grounded plug is on the other side of the room. I usually run my gaming computer with a UPS and even with the 3 feet of cord it has I was not able to reach it with a regular 6 foot cable. This was perfect and I even have some slack left to turn my desktop around. The quality of the tips is great and now I have a peace of mind that my PC is grounded.
