They do work. One of the tie rod ends had some thread issues. Ended up retapping the threads then it worked perfect. Before doing that the it would only go about 15 turns on then get super tight.

I bought this inner and outer tie rod kit for my 1998 Toyota Avalon.It fits and it works.However there are some issues:1. The outer tie rods don't have the grease fittings (the nipples) as shown in the picture. The ones that the seller actually sent out was a sealed one. Which was ok, but that's doesn't match the picture which is a bit misleading. And frankly I prefer the ones with grease fittings.2. The threads where the inner tie rod mates to the steering rack is manufactured imprecisely. I had to grind down a couple of bad threads with a file in order to make the inner tie rod screw into the steering rack.
