Purchased this item just about a year ago by warranty. the front hub rubber gave out and after sending notice to seller and was given an option to refund or replaced seller changes his mind and says warranty is from purchase date not received date and changes his mind even though it had not been a year from the date I received the item not including when the item went out and having to get it diagnosed to see the problem which took a couple of days, but still less than a year from when I received it, will not warranty and will not communicate with me. Also noticed another person had the same issue with the rubber in the face plate breaking. It sounds like it might be a deflective rubber being used. when you contact the seller you get a notice "We are out of office now. Your message(s) will be replied in 24 hours since too much messages need to be replied. We appreciate your understanding and wait with your patience before our solutions or replied." They did get back the first time and said," we willing resend it or give refund, which one is okay?" I picked to a new one. I never heard back from them for 26 days. During this time I sent to messages to find out the status when I would receive the item and then I get "Sorry we couldn't send you a replacement for free since your order has expired the warranty. But we could offer you some discount if you need a new item.", which from the date I received the item and the date I sent the notice to them letting them know what happened even though it took a couple days to find out it was the part not the compressor, it was less than a year. After replying back to them about this I have not receive any info from them. this has been 26days know. After reading other reviews and another person having same issue after I had purchase it, I am not happy with the part or customer service. I didn't want my money back only a replacement.

I learned that 2015 models could possibly have two different style OEM compressors. This kit is perfect for the early 2015's but the later 2015's it will not work. If you have the DCS171C compressor with the triangle in the middle, then it's most likely the DSC171C. Don't be like me and tear down the compressor all the way to the coil just discover it doesn't have 3 screws LOL.Granted I didn't know this before purchasing. Even though I couldn't install it, The components look very well built, sturdy construction and well packed. Included the screws and clips. I'm confident it would have worked perfectly it I could have installed it. I'm going to give it 5 stars (it's not it's fault that Nissan decided to switch compressors mid-year)

I have a 2006 Nissan Altima w the 3.5 engine. This product fit a works as description. I had to use the two spacers it came w in conjunction with the 4 I already had inside the old clutch. Works like a charm.! No more noise and installation was straight forward. Yes I needed to use a gear puller to extract the old pulley. Thanks big time!!!

I installed this in a 2014 Pathfinder in about an hour. Ice cold AC again. Now it’s August and the part has failed. It says a 1 year warranty but I don’t see where to get a replacement so I’m hoping SCITOO reads this.

Firstly, just in case some of you may not know this on any newer push button start vehicle you can do a quick self diagnostic procedure to confirm it's a faulty ac clutch. With the door open, press the push to start button 5 times (foot NOT on the brake pedal so you dont actually start it), followed by 10 pushes of your door close switch (on the pillar), followed by 3 push to start button presses. You' ll hear a beep. The self diagnostic first checks wipers, then lights etc, and then a/c clutch for proper relay and clutch operation. If you don't hear loud-ish clicks on the a/c clutch side then this is most likely your problem. The coil can also be checked with an ohm meter (should read around 4 to 5 ohms) if you have the ability to access the ac clutch coil plug which is a little tricky. Now for the kit itself. Quite simple to install, all parts fit perfectly and seem well built. Maybe a bit more play on the splines than I'd like but it's working perfect. I did reuse factory main bolt as I personally don't trust offshore bolts no matter what they are stamped with. As far as shimming, your gap should be no more than 0.6mm or about 0.025" max. You can check this with feeler gauges between the pulley and pressure plate from the side once bolted down. Just like other reviewers noted, I did have to reuse the original shims plus the ones provided to give me a gap of 0.015" without any drag or unintended contact. Once you have it all assembled, do the diagnostics I mentioned earlier to ensure you solved the problem before starting the car.The pulley swaged in bearing, although not made in Japan like the original, was ultra smooth and seemed very good quality. I'm hoping this repair lasts for many years but this is a relatively simple procedure if I have to do it again. Hope this helps!

No issues on 2006 Honda CRV. You dont need to lower the subframe if you have 2 people! That's how we did it..its a tight squeeze but it can be done.
