E46 M54 2.5l 325i 2002 the pin worked, the camshaft setting blocks worked and fit BUT the locking arm did not as it was too short to swing around the opposite bolt. So it worked for setting but not securing together.

it says it fits m42 engine but it doesn't fit i got it to fit but it needs to be modified

The locking pin required shaving and shortening to work, the cam lock needed to have the locking surfaces polished, it would require hammer force to use
