Tested at 4.3mv in a 110 degree C oven, clearly type KThat is pretty messed up.

Great for quick attachment through sheet metal duct. Accuracy checked good with ice point and boiling point temperatures.

I purchased this unit to replace a type "J" thermocouple on a stove in the basement. The original was shorting out to the spiral wrap metal outer shield. I installed the new purchased thermocouple. It did not produce the necessary output ot give the correct temperature on the Omron control. I decided to repair the old thermocouple, which is now working fine. I will eat the cost of the thermocouples I purchased. You get what you pay for, not.
