You can't push these things hard enough into the block, to get them to begin to bite and self-tap. After many different videos that I found on the internet, I came to the realization that I had to modify this to even get it to work. I had to taper the end of it and cut relief lines into it, so that it would begin to self tap. Even after doing that, I was unsure about this and just went and put a single case saver in. I should have probably just done that in the first place. These things might get you back on the road, but they won't be a positive fix for somebody that is building an engine, or is redoing the heads or putting new jugs on to a short block.
