This pump would be a perfect for the engine pre-luber application. It is compact and easy to mount using split O-clamp bracket. However, it takes a looong time to build up the pressure. It is cheap comparing to Varna Products EP4, Marco UP2 or Exa Mini200M pumps, BUT has inadequate flow; only 0.53 gpm is not impressive.

I'm using it on my waste oil heater to transfer waste oil to the supply pump. Only thing I'd like better is a 110v version. Awesome little pump, and affordable too.

Using the pump to circulate ATF through a cooler and back to the pan. After two days of racing we are very pleased with this pumps performance. So far so good!

I completely disassembled this pump and bench tested it before using two of them.. (as a scavenge pump for a rear-mount turbo system)1. Tolerances are good enough to pull a very solid vacuum2. It will produce at least 50 psi of pressure3. Amp draw is pleasantly low, under operating conditions I am seeing 27 watts consumption, which is great. YMMVOne pump ran backwards, "in" and "out" were swapped. This was easily solved by switching the brushes around on the armature. The brushes have a lot of life built-in and seemed well-made.The metal screens on the inlet and outlet are a nice touch, as a georotor cannot handle debris whatsoever without binding up. I removed the "outlet" screen and saved it as a spare for the inlet.The NPT ports are not tapped very deep. You will likely have to disassemble the pump, remove the seals, and tap it deeper to get standard NPT fittings installed. Not a big deal, it beats the alternative of having loose fittings.Mounting- I 3d printed a holder for this pump; it's tapped on both sides for mounting purposes (M3 I believe) but it would be easier to use adel style rubberized clamps or a hose clamp to hold it in place.Will report back on longevity; but I'm not worried about lifespan whatsoever. This is a quality piece for the price.

I needed this pump to build a device for bleeding hydraulic components. This unit circulates the oil with low volumes but with steady supply and no air. This was crucial because most of the other small transfer pumps are diaphragm pumps that seem to output small air pockets in the discharge line. Time will tell if it holds up, I really like the all-metal construction. It is also very quiet, to the point you really can't even hear it once it's primed and moving oil.
