I’ll try to make this as simple as I can. These are some of the worst mosquito forceps I have ever tried using. I gotta be honest here, I wasn’t expecting much with the price being what it was, but after they arrived and I had a chance to try them out, these are horrible. Everything from the feel, the fit, and the finish. To start, I should say that the stiffness of a pair of forceps usually isn’t a bad thing because they can eventually loosen up with time and lubricant. But these forceps stiffness feels more like the fittings weren’t sized correctly. On that same token, the locking teeth are so bad of a fit, that it takes major pressure just to get them to snap into its first locking point. Now they have 3 locking points, but I can only get these to click into the first and second with major pressure, And I feel if I try clicking them into the tightest locking point, I will snap the arm off first. Seriously! Once these forceps are locked down, you won’t be able to just open them with your fingers still in the holes. You have to use both hands to tweek them enough to unlock them. And on top of this, one of these forceps look like the factory accidentally gouged one of the tips into a grinding wheel giving it a terribly rough indentation. And if all of this wasn’t enough, the color finish on these forceps don’t even match. One forcep has a lighter gold that looks a bit splotchy, while the other looks darker with light spots. I know, the price on these are low, but I have used cheap mosquito forceps before that isn’t this bad out of the box. …So, I guess if you should take anything from this review, it’s that these things just aren’t even worth that cheap price. No, I would never suggest anybody buying this set. You will regret it. Guaranteed!
