My mother is 91 and lives in a second story apartment. She was really concerned that her Siamese cat who kept going through the porch railings would fall and that she wouldn’t be able to retrieve the cat because of her limited mobility. She was also concerned that a tail protector would be ugly. Her railing is black so we bought the black protector and it looks great. She no longer has to worry about the cat so this was a great purchase.

Cable ties are so cheap they break easily. I broke over half of them using it to attach it to my balcony. The net is fine but I will need to purchase more ties to attach it

We’ve had these up for less than a year and the border edges have all flaked off. It’s been a bit messy and doesn’t look as nice as it once did. Works for a temporary solution.

I acquired a 9 week old kitten from my sister's friend, and quickly learned that, not only could she get up the stairs immediately, but she had no fear walking on the massive catwalk overlooking the living room and poking her head through, scaring us half to death. I immediately purchased two of these cat balconies, one for each side of the cat walk, and secured them using the included zip ties and rope.It was a two person job to get it right, but we did, and it not only looks pretty good (for our particular rails, it is hard to keep the netting straight across the top) but is very effective. Making sure to tie your knots as tight as possible to prevent the kitten from pushing through the bottom of the netting worked well. Very happy with the results and would recommend it to other paranoid kitten owners as well.

It's a little time consuming to tie this to your posts but it's worth it to keep my cat safer. Zero issues so far. It does what its supposed to. I wish I was wider but that's not a knock on the product. Just make sure you take measurements so you get the right size for your situation.

I really like the netting itself but the tie wraps provided to secure it were awful. Out of perhaps 20 sent with the net, only 4 actually worked. For all of the others, the tongue that holds it in place broke off. So the net is great but the tie wraps, not at all.
