I bought this to replace my previous crankset after the teeth got bent. Was a fairly quick and easy swap and it runs great.

Save your money and buy an ultegra. I know it is more money but it will cost you more in the only run if you decide you want the better later. It doesn't matter that ultegra is for 11 speed and this is for 10. 9 and 10 speed work just fine on an ultegra. This is a brick in comparison, the ultegra weighs in at 685g (very close to dura ace) and this weighs 910g, which is more than the previous generation. The 105 is a little better with a hollow left crank arm (that is practically the same as the one on the ultegra), but bang for your buck buy the ultegra. This part is the kind of thing that is fine to come on a new bike, but if you are building your own parts, buy the ultegra. It has the further bonus of being functionally the same as dura ace, and nobody makes a better shifting chainring than shimano. So yes, my review is based totally on the weight.
