Your cart is empty.This tubular style satin black trunk rack is a must have addition to the Spyder. This generous 22 1/2" x 13 1/2" trunk luggage rack easily accommodates the standard luggage bags and comes with a complete set of tapered mounting spacers. These tapered black spacers allow the rack to more easily conform to the curve of the trunk and are recessed to allow the rack feet to sit into the spacer, helping spread the load over the trunk lid to alleviate stress cracking. The rubber washer under each spacer not only protects your bike's finish, but also assures water tight fit to the trunk lid. Rack works great with Hopnel h50-113bk rack bag and the short antenna 41-180. The manufacturer's trunk specs should be referenced for loading limits. Fits Can-Am Spyder RT.

I love the product but it should come with an installation template. Since the screws need to go in on an angle, it does not line up well per the instructions. I give the product a 5 and the installation difficulty a 3 at best. I had to drill bigger holes and then needed to go out and get bigger rubber washers to cover the holes.

Durable and looks great. Take your time when drilling through your trunk lid though. Mine worked out perfect, but I can see where someone could be off a bit and have issues with the hole placement. All that said, they made it easy and the product is great.

Trying to hold the rack on the back with tape is a waste of time, it keeps falling off. You are better off removing the top from the trunk body. Six screws hold it in place and then you can work on a bench or worktop. Use a couple of 2x4’s to support it and to raise the back so the rack sits level. Put tape on the painted areas so you don’t scratch it. Run the screws through the threads of the rack to make sure they all bottom out. When I drilled the holes I started small and gradually enlarged the holes in that way if you are a little off the washers can hide that. I used mini files to open one hole. One way you could mark the tape would be to fit all four screws and use the screw heads to imprint the masking tape. I taped mine in position and circled the legs with a pencil. I did this several times. I’d suggest making each hole larger than the screws. They come with unique angled washers to mount the rack, it’s just a matter of getting the right spot to drill.

The Show Chrome Trunk Rack was easy to install on my 2018 Can Am Spyder Rt. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. It is important to line up the rack exactly where you want it as there is "second chance" once you drill the holes for mounting. Lining up the rack is definitely the hardest part of the the installation.

Finish fine, came to my home fine, had 1 issue.I suggest you check the thread depth in each leg before you install the rack.Probably not an issue with many but one of the legs didn't the thread cut deep enough to allow the fastener to be seated far enough.
