With me being a non-cowboy, I only bought these for a photography prop, so, I had a REALLY hard time putting these on.Now, I can't say that is anyone's fault but mine, because as far as I can tell, these are made VERY well!Since I won't be using them for what they were designed for, I can't say anything about how they will do in the field, but first impressions are GOOD!By the way, that is 'my question' in the 'Questions', over on the left about the installation, I knew that I could cut these larger, but, if here were a better solution, I wanted to try it, there wasn't, I guess.I went ahead and cut each hole slightly larger, that worked, but I had to use needle-nose Vice Grip pliers.Oddly enough, even though I used the pliers it did not even scuff the leather, the leather's coated with really tough protection.I just know that when I cut a larger hole, I didn't want to get it 'too large' or I'd be in trouble, "measure twice, cut once"...I'm REALLY happy, I have size 9-1/2 size boot size, and I had to use the LAST HOLE in the strap, if my foot was any smaller I'd have to punch another hole. So, I have extra strap now, but it doesn't look odd.I think they are a really good buy, and really, that is all I can say without actually wearing them and using them for what they were intended.

The hook ups with the screws came out now I can’t use the straps at all. Very disappointing because they looked Amazon.

I really liked these straps paired with my spurs. Although it took a little time to get the spurs through the openings they feel great on my boots and even better walking around.Definitely a recommended for anyone getting started in horsemanship.
