Positives first; the fittings are brass, not copper. Each piece is etched with its number which helps greatly when putting fittings back into the case. The case itself is okay in that most of the pieces stay in place, mostly, without popping out. The number of fittings is impressive, and gives the feeling that surely the fitting you need must be in there. Now for the negatives; quality is a concern. Upon opening the case I found a full circle of machine shaving, which I tossed thinking that things happen. Later I found two identically numbered units were machined differently, picture attached, the right one is over-machined. Because obviously I couldn't try all the fittings I don't know if there are other flaws. In my case I needed that second unit, but couldn't use it. I was able to use one fitting by changing to a thinner o-ring and turning the holder unit upside down. Bottom line is none of the fittings worked directly on my 2004 Ford Excursion but the sheet says they are Ford fittings.Which brings up the total lack of documentation, pictures attached of what came in the kit. It is all trial and error when looking for what you need. Then, even if you knew the unit number, the layout in the case is all out of numerical order. I also noted that the o-rings aren't the customary HNBR green color; being HNBR or not probably doesn't make much difference for a temporary test, but I'm noting it.Added together, I'm returning the kit. If it had fittings I needed and usable documentation it would be a great set.
