I used to have an exhaust tube on my Bravo one drive but felt it was too loud for the folks who were sitting in the back seat. Installed this at the same time I replaced the gimbal bearing and wow what a difference. The boat is so much quieter especially in the back. I did not use any bellows adhesive and have not had any issues with the bellows slipping off. I made sure the band clamps were tight.

Nice and thick but too stiff. I installed with the factory bellows expander tool TWICE! Popped off TWICE... it has too much tension and when you have your out drive uP even a third of the way, it pulls off. Going back to factory part, even at over double the price. Oil out again....outdrive off again....new gasket again....4 hours of my life again.... Very disappointing.

What a miserable item to install. After wresting with it, I thought I had it well installed. The next day I lifted the trim and see one end pulled off.It is as if the bellow is not long enough or doesn't stretch long enough to accomodate the trim in the most upright position.I'm going to install the newer "trumpet" version instead.

Installed today on my 1985 Larson DC175 with an Alpha 1 Gen 1 ourdrive. Fit perfectly, excellent quality, only take back the clamps provided were a little big imo. I used smaller clamps I had at my shop. Besides that great quality- will have a follow up review as soon as it hits the water.

Product was great. Skip the cement. Really a pain to install though. See the YouTube videos; one for making your own cheap tool from toggle bolts and the other for removing the drive unit. Order a gasket too as you will need to remove the drive unit. Really wasn't that big of a deal to remove but still getting the hose on is tough. Have a long 1/4" socket adaptor and nuckle thing for the end to loosen,tighten the band clamp and an extra long regular screwdriver. Don't forget to hook up the speedo afterwards and make sure the gear shifter bracket is lined up before pushing the drive unit all the way back in. The video using zip ties on YouTube didn't work at all for me and thus drive,needed to come off. Definitely a DIY job but not an easy one.

Was a great replacement for my bellows on my old merc cruiser boat. Was half the cost of other suppliers. The same as the 100 part that boat stores are selling.

good quality. i would recommend NOT using the adhesive as it is almost impossible to get it to stick. hardens/dries out before this bellow can be installed causing it to sip off. I installed this without the adhesive and it hasn't slipped off after being out three times.
