The main handle part fits like a glove, but the second handle does not quite fit where it looks right on the handle still able to use and still does the purpose but it could just be the manufacturer of my cast-iron pan.

They are cheaper for a reason. I've had mine since September, and it's April 1. Ialways felt the heat and had to use mits or a towel in conjunction with these. The plastic started melting and breaking within 2 months. Finally replaced them today with legit Lodge holders

Cast iron can be very heavy and very hot. These make it so much easier to move the skillets and not get burned.

This set of cast-iron iron hand protectors is so nice when cooking. You can just slip them on the fry pan handle so you can move the skillet and not get burnt in the process. Anyone who loves cooking with cast-iron should have several of these on hand. They work well.

At first I thought the handle didn't fit. You have to slowly work it on and it fits perfectly. It is not straight but curved in the middle and than keeps it in place without twisting. Excellent idea. Other handles I've had come off so easily it's hard to keep them in place. Cast iron is very heavy and you don't want the handles twisting as you life the pan. Excellent product

Resists enough heat to handle the the pan. Cast iron can get very hot, and that heat spreads to the handle making it hard to pick up when hot. This product has helped reduce that problem.
