Not the best product, but what should I expect for 14+ I just will not order from Amazon anymore on electronics.They don't work the way they are portrayed in the video that's in description of product. Ya gotta have phone open to get them to translate. I wanted it to work without having to use my phone!Poor sound quality sounds like it's in a can. Muffled sound.

These translation earbuds look a little like Apple Airpods, and come in a white recharging case with a charging cable (you must supply your own charging block). They include just the one set of bud tips but they are comfortable. These are relatively easy to set up and use. You just pair the earbuds to your phone as you would any other Bluetooth device. It connected smoothly for me. You also have to download the app Wooask if you don't already have it. I already had that app for another set of translator earbuds I own - it is probably the most commonly used app for this purpose. The app offers over 70 languages online, and 8 offline languages. Also you can select from 4 different online translation modes. You must register with Wooask and have an internet connection to use the translation app for free. Unfortunately, you have to pay for the offline mode. When I saw the product title I thought this came with 8 offline languages included, so that was a disappointment - I should have read more carefully. I will likely just continue to use the offline option on the Google translator app on my phone when I can't get an internet connection since it is totally free.These will work in real time, but you should speak slowly and clearly and pause between sentences so it can keep up. It has several translation modes to choose from. In free-talk mode, you can share the earphones - you wear one, the other person wears one - and you take turns talking, or you can just let the other person read the translation on your phone if you don't want to share the earphones. Sound quality is great. The translations are not perfect but even so I find it is good enough that you can understand what you need to pretty well.
