The 3i-1717-10LT is watertight and dustproof, and features a deluxe Nylex-wrapped closed cell fitted foam liner and (4) Velex-covered foam pads with heavy duty hook-and-loop tabs to create the perfect fit for all kinds of gear. SKB iSeries Injection Molded Mil-Standard Waterproof Cases are molded of ultra high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, featuring a gasket-sealed, water and dust tight, submersible design (MIL-STD 810G) that is resistant to corrosion and impact damage. Standard features include a molded-in hinge, patented trigger release latches, snap-down rubber over-molded cushion grip handle, automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD 810G), and resistance to UV, solvents, corrosion, fungus and impact damage (MIL-STD 810G).

This thing is legit a Tank. Like others have said build quality is top tier, the pictures online don’t do it justice for how hard and sturdy the plastic is. Latches are tight and are super sturdy, padding inside is plush and when the snare is inside it is very fitted in there (almost too tight). I would trust this thing to be run over by a truck and still be in one piece. Tour grade piece of gear. If you want top of the line, idk what else could be any higher quality. Extremely happy with the investment. Ain’t cheap but holy does it deliver. 5 Stars

Blown away by this product. If you have an expensive snare drum do yourself a favor and protect it with this. Heavy gigging musician here,and already out it through the wringer. Solid 5 stars.
