I'm pretty sure I will throw my back out every time I lift it but it keeps all my stands organized and safe.

This SKB case is heavy as all get out with all my assorted hardware, but keeps it safe and intact. Good wheels make all the difference.Might have to disassemble hi hat stsnd to.fit, but otherwise, no problems. Bonus is multiple padlock points.

I didn't expect it to be as sturdy as it is. Thought it would be the usual weak suitcase plastic. It's solid, not too light, not too heavy and fits my photo lightstands and even monolights in a smaller case. Very happy with purchase.

This thing is built quite well, and is comparable to a Pelican made case IMHO. I use it to store and ship large tripods. It has plenty of room, and is lockable.

These guys make the best road cases and they back them up with excellent support. We own several of these cases in various sizes. They are durable as hell and in the extreme cases where shippers have managed to break handles and latches, SKB has replaced parts and even an entire case for no charge.

I purchased this as a flight case for my NS CR4 electric cello. It fits over the gig bag the cello came in and had room for the endpin and shoulders, but I didn't try to put in the tripod stand. I wrapped it all up in an egg crate mattress topper and bubble wrap, and the cello traveled fine. It is a nice case that is easy to roll and maneuver. It really locks down good. You may want to purchase some TSA locks. I think it is a much better way to go than the NS recommended flight case which looks like it weighs a ton and has no wheels.

I had just broken the wheels off of my second StudioPro 40" rolling soft case when I found this case and decided to spend a bit more and upgrade to something that will actually survive air travel with all my video gear. I had previously bought an SKB iSeries rolling case for my cameras and lenses, and was really happy with it. So this case took on my tripods, light stands and grip gear and had no problems on the three flights I took last week. The weak spot on the previous cases was always the wheels. These wheels look and feel absolutely solid and I have no concerns about them breaking. In fact, the handles and latches are all the same way. But even if they were to break, it has a lifetime warranty. So it really makes no sense to skimp on a cheap case if you have to replace it, when you can get a permeant solution once. At the same time, you could get similar quality and lifetime guarantee from Pelican, but the prices are going to go up quick. I think of SKB as a perfect middle ground of price and durability. As for cons, this is all I have. The handle on both my SKB cases really lack a good grip. They are kind of slippery. When you have this case loaded up with 70 lb of gear and you are pulling it through an airport with one handle, it gets heavy and without a good grip you have to be very careful that it doesn't slip out of your hand and slam onto the ground. On my other case, this happened on more than one occasion. You are walking and rolling the case behind you with a relaxed grip, the wheels catch on something like a seam in the sidewalk and the handle slides right out of your hand. Your fragile or sensitive gear hits the ground and hopefully the foam or padding inside does it's job well enough. The times it happened to me, everything was okay, but it would still be great to see an improved grip on these cases.

Perfect size , I am using it to ship all our in-ear monitor sysrem to Seattle then to the Philippines. Only thing wrong was there is no padding on the inside. Other than that, great case.
