Strong and well made. Easy to use. Makes the job much quicker and easier when you have the right equipment. It would be helpful if the middle unit also had height adjustment, but it’s not a big deal.

Exactly as described. Heavy duty and seems to be able to handle all tuning operations. One drawback is that the "clamp" for tuning edges is just a thumb screw so you have to push the clamp shut with one hand and tighten the holding screw with the other.. not too bad if you're ambidextrous at all.

Vices are high quality. I use for ski tuning and waxing. They open to 4 inches and I had to drill an extra wood piece to my bench to allow the vices to operate. Easy add on.

Always wanted a set but seemed too pricey for home use. These are probably not ski shop sturdy but for home use they are perfect. About half the price. The extra up and down slide adjustment comes in very handy for different skis. Works well for edge tuning and waxing.

Perfect for tuning skis!No instructions included. No big deal. Easily figured it out.Skis fit snug and sturdy.Paint on vice chips off easily. Doesn’t affect the function of the vise.I don’t snowboard, the vice has the option for mounting a snowboard vertically.I highly recommend this product!

This set up makes edge tuning and ski waxing incredibly easy. Quick to set up and fits any length board or ski. Waxing is a breeze. Little messy when scrapping excess wax so you might want a shop vac handy. That’s not a design flaw just something I noticed. Definitely recommend for anyone who doesn’t want the cost or time waiting for gear to be tuned year after year.

I don't have more than one pair of skis and needed something for the occasional tuning. I just returned to skiing after a 20-year layoff, and always tuned my own skis "back in the day". I needed something to hold the skis while tuning, but didn't feel the need for the highest quality vises available. These work great! The rubber pads hold the skis while face down with minimal slippage at most. When skies are clamped in on edge, these really do the job nicely while tuning the edges. These will be all I need to keep my skis tuned throughout the season.
