These are perfect for ski season! They are warm, but thin enough not to mess with the fit of my ski boots! I wear them year round when I want knee socks. They stay up, keep me warm, and are padded, to boot!

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE these socks. Extremely warm. Great for winter play, and for padding around the house in the winter. These are SO VERY soft, and they wash up well. Absolutely love them. LOVE them. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend.

These Jkevow Ski Socks are perfect for cold weather! Super warm, comfortable, and breathable — they kept my feet toasty and dry all day while working in a walk in freezer for 8 hours and wearing my safety boots. Highly recommend!

I picked up these knee-high cold-weather socks after struggling with numb, blistered toes on winter hikes and ski outings. I was hoping for a blend that would wick moisture, cushion pressure points and stay warm without feeling bulky inside my boots. My goal was to find a single sock that could handle everything from breaking trail in deep snow to long days standing at a deer stand, without needing liners or multiple layers. The package arrived in a simple plastic pouch - nothing fancy - and inside the socks felt surprisingly soft against the skin. The ribbed leg and reinforced heel and toe areas showed a plush density that promised cushioning where I needed it most. On closer inspection I noticed a few loose fibers along the inside seam; a quick trim smoothed the interior and eliminated any potential for snagging or irritation.Out on the trail and on gentle slopes, these socks lived up to their thermal claims. The wool-acrylic blend did a fine job of shedding sweat, and even when my boots warmed up the fabric never felt damp or clammy. The extra padding underfoot eased long walks over frozen ground, and after half a dozen hand washes the cushioning stayed plump and supportive. Even the top band retained enough elasticity to stay up without leaving marks or rolling down.Pulling them on and off proved effortless thanks to their stretch, and once in place they reached just below my knee without digging in. I appreciated the anti-static finish too; no unpleasant crackle on vinyl or carpet when I take them off after a day outdoors. Ski boots with a tight fit will feel snug around the calf, so I’d hesitate to use these for aggressive carving; for more relaxed snowboarding or hiking boots they slide in comfortably.I’ve tried premium merino socks that cost nearly twice as much, and while those feel lighter and wick marginally better, they also wear out faster in rocky terrain. These strike a middle ground, offering most of merino’s benefits plus added durability from the cotton blend. At around twenty dollars a pair they stand up well to rigors like snowblowing, trekking, or shoveling without feeling like a disposable winter accessory. All told, these thermal knee-highs deliver reliable warmth, cushioning and durability at a fair price. They’ll suit anyone who spends long hours outdoors in cold conditions, including hikers, casual skiers, snowboarders and hunters. If you demand a feather-light racing sock for tight Alpine boots you might look elsewhere, but for everyday winter adventures these strike the right balance of comfort and performance.

Anyone who skis and hikes will tell you: Any good set of ski socks is also a good set of boot socks for camping, hunting, fishing, etc., and vice versa. These are a really good set of boot socks. The design is made to allow your feet to breathe, but also provides ball and heel cushion padding. The length goes over the calf, almost to knee.I put these on first thing this morning, and after wearing them around the backyard and jogging once around the block in hiking boots, I'm impressed. These are solidly made, and very, very comfortable.

Will buy more of these for next years skiing trip. These are similar to the pure Merino wool socks i have been using but with the additional blend materials make the socks seem thicker and stronger. My ski boots fit better with these and the cushioning is excellent in the shin area and ankles. For me the sock would be perfect if the heel had a bit more padding. It does feel as warm as pure Merino wool socks. I would recommend washing the socks before first use so the don't feel as "slippery" as when brand new.

ChatGPT said:Warm, cushy, and tall enough to clear ski‑boot cuffs, these black‑gray‑orange knee‑highs keep feet comfortable through long days on the mountain. The wool‑blend knit traps heat without feeling swampy, while padded shins and reinforced heels take the bite out of boot pressure points. A wide elastic band at the top stops sagging, and the stretch panels through the arch keep the fabric from bunching inside tighter snowboard boots. After two wash‑and‑dry cycles the socks held their shape and softness, though they do run thick—great for extra warmth, but you may need to loosen boot buckles a notch. Overall, reliable cold‑weather socks that deliver toasty comfort and solid cushioning for skiing, snowboarding, or any winter outing.

They are warm, but despite ordering my size, they are very tight; uncomfortably so. They look nice, but I don't think I can wear these long term. Maybe they'd be useful as compression socks for people who are worried about DVT on planes.
