This hat needs to be advertised better, it is not just a costume accessory. This hat is the real thing. I wanted this hat to use as a base to embellish with some designer ribbons and charms I have. I've looked at this style hat elsewhere and the price tags were shocking. This is an affordable straw hat, made just as well as the pricier designer hats. And it is made from real straw, not paper. This should not be advertised as a party hat as it diminishes the quality and application of the hat. This boat style hat is super hot in fashion right now and as I've said, it is amazing quality at a fraction of the price. What a find for anyone who is crafty!
