About this item

  • Improve acceleration, lateral speed and change of direction
  • Tangle-free fold means no time spent untangling and more time training
  • Ends and sides are extensible for attaching more ladders
  • Low profile edges minimize chance of catching cleats
  • Rigid, hinged side rails for easy set-up and breakdown

Training sessions should not be spent untangling a ladder. The Quick Ladder Pro employs the concertina, or accordion, fold for tangle-free set-up and breakdown.

I use these frequently for agility sessions for all age groups. They are much easier to set up and put away than the cheaper option and if a player catches the ladder it doesn't need to be straightened out as it keeps the shape pretty well. I have also found it to be more durable than the cheaper options. If it is something you are using regularly then worth paying for it.

SKLZ typically makes genuinely innovative products. Just not this one. A complete engineering redesign is needed here. I purchased two of the "Pro" series ladders along with their regular ones. One Pro ladder arrived broken. The box did not exhibit external damage so I'm going to say it didn't happen during transit. The second dies a horribly dead the very first time a player stepped on the rung during a workout. The ladder becomes useless as soon as the scissor part is broken. Sorry SKLZ - back to the drawing board with this one.

I got this so my nephew who is a high school athlete could work out using it. He's trying very hard to stay in shape however he can and baseball season is starting soon too. He's a second baseman and you certainly need to have great footwork for that. As soon as we got it, we opened it and he started using it immediately. I like that it's not a huge space hog because you are able to fold it up, put it in the bag and store it. This price seems okay but I think a 2 pack at this point would be more adequate.Overall, this is a very good footwork trainer and I do recommend it.

This is a great item for developing rhythm, balance and body control in both children and adults. It's light-weight and easy to set up-- no assembly required. You simply detach the two snaps and stretch it out on the floor accordion-like and fold it back up when you're done. It fits nicely in the carrying bag which is included, and all the plastic edges are smooth so nothing caught on the bag. It extends out to about 10 feet, and you can adjust the distance between each rung to fit your needs. If you need more than 10 feet, you can purchase more ladders and attach them to each other. Four ground stakes are included for outdoor use; so far I have only used it inside. In addition, the ladder comes with a very helpful instruction guide that contains 25 different exercises-- some for warming-up, some for movement, and then some for recovery after the workout. (Note though: for some reason, the three recovery exercises require that you to use a hard foam barrel roller. If you don't have one, you could probably just do any kind of cool-down that would help your muscles recover.) That said, it's extremely intuitive to set up and I used it easily and had no problem with my feet catching on any part of it.

This is a light weight low profile foot trainer, set-up is easy and quick. It includes (4) ground stakes to secure it to the ground. It folds up and stores or transports in the included nylon bag. I use it during practice for the middle school students I coach, the kids love this working on foot work agility training. The plastic should hold up to normal abuse but time will tell how long it lasts. Price seems a little high.

The Sklz Quick Ladder Pro is a great way to build up some agility training. It folds open or closed like an accordion and comes with a bag for easy storage. It works equally well indoors or outdoors. In addition to using it for agility exercises, I like to spread this out on the living room carpet and use it as a game with our grandson. The game is to have him try step or hop inside the squares without touching the edges. While he does not know he is learning agility, he has fun just the same.

Pros:- No assembly required. Just unstrap and unfold.- Easy to set up. It won't tangle.- Nylon straps and plastic material makes easier to carry/prevent injury/kid friendly. (comes with storage case)- Attach as many ladders with the strap. It includes some warm-up training exercise tip guide.Price seems pretty hefty, personally, but if you are serious about your work outs then this may be worth your investment, especially if you consider the convenience and safety; no need to be looking for sticks or objects via poorman's way.Great for indoors and outdoors.
