These have a nicely textured front and back to them, sort of a linen-looking weave pattern. They seem sturdy enough, although they are lighter than most of the other pressboard classification folders I have. I wish the interior sections also had 2" prongs, but alas, they are about half the length. The dark gray is exactly the color I expected and wanted, very neutral, not too blue or too earthy.
