This kit contains everything needed (except a mallet) for installing button snaps.A plastic, partitioned box contains all of the items.All of the hardware is stainless steel.All of the tools (hole punch, setter and double sided anvil) are carbon steel.The cap diameter is 0.58". The post length for the eyelet and cap is 0.20".The screw-on stud has an overall length of 0.77". The Phillips head screw is 0.14" in diameter with a 0.59" length. The screw is not removeable from the stud.Currently, the seller's listing provides instructions on how to use this kit.These "short post" snaps work well for fabric, canvas and thin leather items.The snaps are nearly identical to the ones available at big box stores but at a better price.Recommended.

Snap Button Tool SilveryThe snaps in this kit are comparable to others I have purchased in the past. They install pretty easily using my (higher quality than the one included) install tool. Speaking of, the tool that comes with this kit is very basic, and doesnt do a great job/kind of hard to use. I would suggest getting a better snap install tool
