This is super easy to use ands set up. THe tripod makes it easy to set up and the carrying case is perfect for when it's time to pack up and go. It seems pretty accurate, we're not getting outragous readings and it's fun to see who kicks the ball fastest.

I got this to hold RC races indoors and love the feedback on the speeds we are hitting in our RC cars! It makes it that much more fun to race! It was easy to set up and is easy to read as well. This is a cool little thing that I always needed but never knew I did!!!

I was nicely surprised that this radar gun appears to be very accurate. Tested this with my son's help who is 8 and who recently (about 6 months ago) was at a baseball place where he hit and pitched and "info" was recorded. His highest was 41mph pitching while now, with this radar he was throwing 44/45mph. We tested him hitting, exit velocity, and this was also very close. Our test was off the tee, thus probably not as comparable as to a pitch machine (at 35mph) which probably adds some EV mph. But the numbers were close.I do want to report that the unit is built with plastic, thus it does appear little "cheap". The tunning fork test was hard for us, until we realized that you have to bring the "fork" right next to the listening sensor. We also didn't get it to work when the unit was on the floor, about 4-6 feet from net that was catching the baseballs. We had to place it "pitch level" behind the net. It does have a small tripod included, but it is basically worthless as you can only use it when on the ground. Of course, if you have one, you can use your own. It does have nice features mph/kmph, voice.

It is easy to setup and it does seem to work but I have nothing to compare the speed measurement against. One gripe I have is that the Amazon page emphasizes Soccer, which is something my Son likes to play but the actual box it comes in only mentions it being used for Baseball and Softball. Will a bigger Ball cause the results to be inaccurate?

Our nephews had a blast using this to track their speed on their dirt bikes, and it quickly turned into a neighborhood competition to see who could throw the fastest baseball. It was a bit tricky to set up, but once we got it going, it worked great. Runs on 5 AA batteries and keeps everyone entertained!

This Smart Pro sports radar unit has been a big hit in the neighborhood. We seem to have started a competition with boys and girls to see who is the best at soccer, running, and skating. We have only had it for a short time, but it has been great at promoting fitness and fun all around. The unit requires minimal set up and has a short manual that is easy to read and understand. The controls consist of five buttons on the rear. The large LED numbers are easy to read in bright sunlight. There is a voice that announces the speed if desired, but it can be difficult to hear in loud environments. It comes with a tuning fork to set or determine accuracy, a small tripod to help with various angles, as well as a nice storage / protective soft sided case. The storage case is big enough to contain all the included items while still being small enough to fit in a gym or equipment bag.It requires five AA batteries that are supposed to last 30 to 50 hours, we haven't had it long enough to test that. I would prefer a rechargeable battery, but this is not a big issue.I am happy with this radar unit as it promotes fun activities, fitness, competition, and personal development. It performs well, has a great storage bag, and seems to be a good overall value.

So far so good! I can't tell you if it's 100 percent accurate as I have nothing else to get the speed of anything I'd test. What I can say is that it's consistent so I'm inclined to believe it's pretty darn near close. The intention for me getting this was to measure soccer shots. It's been great at that. My kids also figured out you could just run in front of it and see how fast you are, a la The Office. So with that, it's been great fun for everyone!
