The item is exactly as it looks and is rather small. I prepared them by mounting them to some garden stakes to set out and deter the rodents from getting to my rose bushes. The sensors don’t do that well sending. They will start flashing nonstop if nothing is in front of them and then won’t activate when there actually is movement. They’re also somewhat fragile, as I broke off part of the mounting tag when trying to do so.

I am happy with the Solar Animal Repeller. It seems to be keeping the coyotes away from our property. We usually see at least one coyote at night on our ring cam, but since installing these we have not seen any. These were quick and easy to install, and seem to be an effective solution.

I felt so excited when after 3 nights of using, no raccoon digging up my yard. But then on day 5, went out in the morning, and my garden was dug up even right in front of the predator light. Holes all over the yard just like before. $45 for 4 nights of protection. So now what??? The raccoons get used to the lights. In my experience, another waste of money on things that just don’t work long term.

Sofar so good! It's still early in the season so I don't have my garden completely up and going yet. So far I have noticed fewer birds hanging out (could be because my strawberries haven't popped yet) right about my garden and it seems like fewer cats have made their liter box out of my beds also!
