Bought this prop to replace a stainless steel of the same size and pitch Figuring I would lose a little bit of performance But with lake levels dropping around here I prefer not to hit a rock with a stainless prop. To my surprise this aluminum prop out performed the Stainless in both speed And Bite on the water

i used This propped 3 times so my trophy boat failed on the hub The spleen failed.. Still, brand new need to get a new one I do not recommend this product to anyone for a $155 dollars, it's not a good deal. made real Cheaply

let's face it, boat prop's have got crazy on prices! I am to the point were we run an aluminum prop as it is safer and so much less $$$ to replace or repair over stainless! this prop is very well balanced ,smooth, and seems to run within .3 tenths of a mph of the stainless prop it replaced on gps. Not to mention, if you hit that stump with this aluminum prop, it will fail long before the gears in your lower unit, so it builds in a bit of saftey...for your wallet!!!
