Solas props are great. We cruise pontoons and pontoon house boat. Not sure for folks who want speed and top end

I had been using a 13 inch pitch prop on my 18 foot open cockpit boat with 4 stroke 135 HP outboard. The problem was that it would not maintain a plane at less than about 4000 RPM. The 11 inch pitch solved that problem and I'm a happy camper.

While this is exactly the part I ordered it is not the correct pitch for my type of boat and motor. Don't use Amazon to tell you that. Go to the manufacturer and find out the correct pitch for your type of boat. Prop worked great but my engine overheated at full throttle. Check your RPM guide for your motor and type of boat through somewhere else besides Amazon. Or you will need to buy a 2nd prop later. Correct prop for a 90 hp 2 stroke 2002 yamaha on a fishing boat is a 17 pitch, not 11. 11 is for a pontoon with the same engine.

If ordering this make sure you order the mounting kit as well.. we did not. Good communication with seller after realizing we needed it.
