Reviewed this and made sure this is legit Sony vs knockoff. Clearly company is linked but I checked and verified Sony sells this vs Best Buy or other companies vs individual seller.Super plug and play. I play guitar and sing w my daughter and we can just use one guitar amp input and one 1/4” jacks to play 3 sounds.The mic needs to be adjusted higher and the instrument a little lower not to drown out. But please see features of dampening, removing pop etc for reasons why it doesn’t explode w loud singing/noise.Each mic and receiver has an on off button and auto turn off I believe. At least the mics do.The input is still typical .25inch cable btw as I wasn’t familiar w the other measurement was a little off compared to guitar cables but minutely.Will fit on most stands fine and the build quality is amazing and the easy to use factor is super easy.Only typical knock is the receiver is shaped sticking out on any amp/board etc and seems like it could be cracked off but again most people just plug and play on a sound board that’s stationary.We love these and highly recommend!!!The cost is comparable to every new item and it’s not Shure or Senheiser(sp?) brands but this ain’t no joke.Always wanted to split two mics on my amp and this resolves the issue and sounds excellentUpdate* one knock I forgot was that each item has a usbc charger and not compatible w my Nintendo switch charger haha jk.So you either get 3 cables to charge all together or have to remember to switch each one when it’s that time.Obviously this is a little knock and the market is typical for separate mic charging.I did buy multiple usbc cables/bricks for quick charging please see the 10m charge gets xyz time which is pretty good!But I’m not trying to switch the usbC cable multiple times in a day. Still awesome

The Sony wireless mic works really well for at home karaoke. The sound quality is clear and I did not have to deal with the constant feedback issues I had when using cheaper sets. The battery is reliable and lasts a long time. I have not tested it 100 percent until it dies, but so far from several hours of use, it still has plenty of charge left.It does not quite have the depth or warmth compared to a Shure setup, but it also holds its own for casual use. The range is reasonable and I can move around the living room and into the kitchen without cutting out. It is more than sufficient for casual use at this price point.

I was really expecting more from these microphones. I'll often use handheld battery powered microphones with portable speakers for parties and events, and was excited to try this Sony ULT MIC model microphone. Ultimately, I am disappointed with these, and likely will not use them.Pros:- Built quality is good. These are NOT metal (except the mesh grill). The body is plastic, but it is at least a quality composite, not a cheap plastic feel. I was disappointed in this at first, however, from a durability perspective when being dropped or tossed around, the composite material is likely better.- Does well to reduce feedback. Even when getting close to the speaker and the volume turned up, high pitch screech/feedback is rarely encountered except within 2 or so feet.- USB-C charging is nice rather than dealing with AA batteries.Cons:- There is a serious issue with the gain/output on the receiver. When using with a Bose S1 Pro portable speaker, I cannot get enough gain.... I turn the volume to the max, and STILL it does not produce enough loudness. I've compared this to other brand microphones, and the gain/loudness is significantly lower. There is no way to adjust this setting on the receiver. I hope Sony provides some sort of an update, or perhaps this is only intended to work with the ULT line of speakers.- Handling noise reduction is just fair. There is not a crazy amount of handling noise, but, in moving your hands around you will hear some noise.- These microphones do not come with a case of any sort. No way to store these microphones, and at >$100, you would think they would at least have a soft case.I was really between 3 and 4 stars on these. I am fond of the resilient build quality as I've used them, but functionally, the low gain/loudness and lack of case to transport greatly reduce the useability of these in ANY setting. I would not recommend these microphones.

I'm totally impressed with these wireless Sony mics. I love Karaoke and these mics surpassed my expectations. They deliver a powerful, rich, clear vocal. The mics only come with one charging cable, which is a little disappointing. The cables are so cheap they should have provided more than one. However, I won't rate the mics on the lack of cables. The other thing I would have liked is if they provided a case to transport the mics easily, not a huge complaint, but it would have been nice. The mics are well built, durable, charge fast, and the battery lasts a super long time. I also like the noise reduction technology not found in my other mics. Another thing to point out, the mics pair perfectly with the receiver and the transmission remained stable. I'm glad to see Sony delivered exceptional quality.
