Though these chairs are tagged with a 550 pound weight capacity (which I'mnot here to confirm or dispute), this chair is uncomfortable for me to sit on, enough that I am here to warn you! The seat area is not big enough for a big butt. The metal seat side support rails dig into my thighs, and I cannot sit all the way back in the seat because it is not wide enough. The back of the chair is comfortable enough, but these are upright chairs, not lounge chairs, so without being able to squeeze my fat a$$ all the way into the chair, the comfortable back is useless. For a short amount of time, sure, these chairs are bearable, but I wouldn't want to have to sit on it for any extended period of time. The discomfort just isn't worth it. We bought these intending to sit on them for one to two hours at a time. I just cannot bear to sit on them that long.

These chairs are very sturdy. The reason for a 4 is because the seat part is a little short from where your knees fit to the back of the chair. Otherwise they are awesome.

These chairs are SO sturdy and comfortable. I love how the seat and back curves to the human body. Great set of folding chairs!

These chairs are impressively comfortable and attractive. I like the curved back and seat. The handle is substantial enough for large hands. Any chairs I get must be able to accommodate heavy set family. Seeing how well these are made gives me confidence in offering a sturdy and relaxing place to sit. The seat height is comparable to existing patio chairs and fit just right under the patio table. We have big events on a regular basis so it's great to have a new, modern set of chairs instead of old, clunky, ugly chairs bought at a discount years ago. This new set of chairs are much easier to fold, carry and store. The only reason I didn't give five stars is due to the chair tips. I don't believe the material is rubber unless it's mixed with plastic. The tips are already showing too much wear and they've only been used once. The floor surface where the chairs were used and will be used most is concrete--not a smooth tile or vinyl. It's not that big of a deal since replacement tips are inexpensive and readily available. I'm happy to recommend these chairs.
