1972 Chevy GMC truck.The two tubes didn't align with the holes in the firewall, not even close. I bent them a couple times with no failures. The core itself also doesn't sit in the heater box quite as happily as the original core, but it was good enough for me.If you want it to fit no problems, it's a risky bet.If you just want something cheaper than a factory style brass core, and don't mind making it fit, this might be the way to go.Aluminum doesn't like electrolysis so you ought to use antifreeze or some other additive that helps prevent electrolysis. Strait water(distilled or not) is a bad idea.

Core is not a perfect fit , but always expect that in reproductions . Largest problem was bending / adjusting pipes to fit through firewall . Made a jig to hold pipe in vice so no stress was on core when bending .

Great heater core, the only thing that kept it from getting 5 stars was the angle of the tubes was wrong, it worked but needed a little tweaking.
