I ordered the wrong size heater core the first time thinking the dimensions were OD, when they were the size of the core itself less the tanks on the ends. It came to me in pristine shape, wrapped and padded sufficiently. Cost about $8.50 to return. When I received the correct one just a couple days later it arrived in an oversized box with no padding and there was a hose hold down clip bouncing around in the box with the core. So the core looked like the front of my radiator with all the bug bends but on both sides. I would complain and send it back if I had time. Could have been 5 stars for fit and finish but knocked it down to 3 stars cause I had to spent about 45 min. trying to straighten out the fins so it could breath properly. I’m hoping it doesn’t leak. If you are replacing your heater core then you know what a hassle it is.

The 94691 does in fact fit my 1966 Chevy C10 with the optional Deluxe Heater. The problem with trying to order parts through Amazon is that they give you measurements of the package that the part comes in when received from the manufacturer. I purchased a heater core from LMC Truck online assuming I would get OEM, I did not, and wound up getting a Spectra Premium 94691 heater core made in China and also paid twice as much plus shipping. This core measures 9 1/2'' long (from top of core to bottom of core, excluding tanks). It's 6 3/8'' wide and 2 1/2'' thick. They are Not aluminum, but some other alloy and cheaply made.
