Great spur. The roller ball is effective without being at all harsh on their sides. Sprenger brand is solid. Love the rubber guard too. Stays put well. I have spur rests on my boots, but I imagine they would stay put even without. Expensive, but sure to last. My daily go to spur.

These spurs are the best I have ever had. They do not leave any spur marks. They are also a bit longer than some of the other roller options. The black grippy material around the heel works very well to prevent them from slipping up and down. I have ridden many horses in them and have never had an issue with marks or irritation. Overall they are the best spurs I have found and never use anything else.
