They have a self drilling point that works real well, no need for predrilling and also helps eliminate splitting, The Torx head is well engineered. I have never stripped one.The included bit is very useable, but I use my premium bits for best results, and trust me there IS a difference between free and premium bits. I Save the "free" bits as "loaners " When someone wants to "borrow" a bit.I got the 1/4 inch by 1 1/2 in screws . They are monster screws, very solid. They work GREAT for attaching joist hangers and such to 2X4s, the cabinet/washer head provides great support and looks good sitting flat to the surface. I do not know if they satisfy code, but they are a lot easier to use where there is no room to swing a hammer. I use them in many of my projects.They have what they call a "PPG Industries 1,500 Hour Golden E-Coat" which appears to be rated for use in pressure treated wood which can corrode non-plated screws.I use a lot of WoodPro screws and they're my first choice in plated , torx wood screws.

Much less expensive than the big box stores. Cannot comment on the quality as I used these in a very light non stress application. Seem identical to more expensive ones.

These are excellent for attaching face plate to blank for wood lathe. I was concerned about the 1.5 inch length, but have had no problems with 8 inch face plate on 75# blank.You will also need to order a good Torx #25 impact driving bit for driving the screws.

I use these to fasten 1/2 and 3/4 plywood to 2x4 framing. The 1 1/2 inch length works well for this size framing. The washer head prevents pull through on the plywood. The exterior rating is an added bonus.

I have used about 1000 wood pro screws. They are tough hold well and don’t snap. Good product. Driven with both drill driver and impact driver. They hold up drive straight and don’t break.

I love these screws. they worked so well that I used the box of 50, and ordered two more boxes immediately.My original use case was to secure a vinyl privacy screen to and old wooden fence. These screws were perfect for that. The grommets on the screen were huge, so I just went right through the edging of the fabric with these screws. The large washer head covered enough fabric so that there's no danger of the fabric tearing off over the screw head. The color was perfect for outdoor use. The Torx design insured that they went in solidly without stripping. I'm very pleased with these screws.

Excellent quality screws can’t get better for the price. Cheaper than big box stores in Canada. I used these on my rise garden I’m not worried about the screws in the long term these will survive a lifetime even exposed to the Canadian weather. I even bought different lengths and won’t be my last order.

I used a box of these screws to fasten multiple signs around a pagoda. Not a single slip/strip or any other issues. Highly recommended!
