Good quality charcoal canister. Fit my late 1997 Pathfinder. No more charcoal bits wandering forward into the EVAP check valves and solenoids under the hood. Cleared one of my EVAP trouble codes.

I am sure that the quality of this canister is superb as stated by others, and indeed it does appear to be well made. However, this canister does not fit the Nissan pickup through 4/97. Nissan in 1997 changed the interface between the vent valve and the canister such that they are no longer interchangeable. The 4/97 and on canister has a smooth bore which matches a new valve configuration with the o-ring on the valve body instead of on the canister. See photos.Now i either replace this canister or buy the '97 configuration vent valve. Two days down the drain.

This was a very good price for what I was looking for. I put this on my 1998 Infiniti Qx4 and it seemed to be the exact brand and part that was on my vehicle. This was an easy fix and I'm so glad I did it myself. The dealer wanted more than 2x's the amount that I actually paid. Perfect!

This might seem "after market" but let me assure you, this is a OEM canister without the OEM price. I took out my old vapor canister because it was leaking charcoal and it is the same as this one, down to the numbering and nissan logo!Only difference is that they seem to have updated the filters inside the canister that keeps the charcoal bits out, which is a good thing.
