Installed the part, it lasted two days, the relay closed and kept the HVAC fan on high speed regardless what position the blower switch was on. In fact, when the ignition switch was turned to the ON position the fan immediately came on at high speed even if the HVAC was switched to off. I installed this part to repair an intermittent issue that leads back to the original factory part and I felt more confident in using a Standard Motor part, they have been around a long time, I still remember the Blue Streak line of ignition parts, always top quality years back.Nonetheless two days is pretty bad, no excuse for this to happen

It worked great for the first three days and then didn’t work anymore. It kept my fan on one setting and I ended up having to disconnect it and return it. I got another one from an actual auto part website for $10 more and it’s been working without a hitch for weeks now.

I bought this for my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee, works fantastic. The resistor stopped working, my blower fan wasn’t blowing at all. Bought this, two torx screws later and the problem was fixed. Great product!
