The mount is rock solid. I spend a lot of time traveling across the country by driving, which is the perk for remote workers. I purchased Starlink for getting reliable satellite internet so that I can always get to my colleagues even when I am in a parking lot. This mount fits perfectly on the dash. The build quality looks pretty good. The base is sturdy and the arm feels durable too. The base grips the car dashboard firmly and the clamp holds the Starlink dish securely. No shifting during turns and sudden stops. It's convenient to remove the dish and reinstall. A very practical accessory for using Starlink in the car.

The mount has a suction cup base that sticks to the dashboard, it didn't budged on bumpy backroads. Setting it up was easy, I just cleaned the dashboard, pressed the suction cup down, and it was ready to go. The adjustable angle is handy. I can tilt it to avoid glare from the sun or position it so my passenger can check the connection. It feels sturdy. I remember one trip to the lake where the kids were streaming music in the backseat, and the mount kept the thing there the whole way.But when the car gets hot, like during a summer day with the sun beating down, the suction cup gets a little too warm and feels slightly less secure. It hasn’t fallen off, but I worry it might if I park in direct sunlight for too long. I’ve started tossing a sunshade over the dashboard just in case.

This particular method of stabilizing a Starlink Mini allows for accurate angle adjustments, unlike attaching directly to a windshield with a traditional suction cup mount.The components are plastic but sturdy. The mount secures reliably to a smooth surface or the supplied adhesive pads–which was needed for my installation. There is also a silicone strip to keep the bottom edge from slipping. I will cut that in half and attach the two pieces to each corner for my use case.When not in use it is easily stored and doesn't take up much room.Would I recommend this item to others? I had always been bringing my Starlink dish for road trips. But I didn't have a proper mount for it in my car. Usually I just put it on the rear deck. It wasn't fixed and it frequently hit the rear windshield. Now with this mount, I've brought the dish to the front and set it up on the dashboard. It works ok and doesn't block my vision as long as I don't lift it up too high. The arm is easily adjustable. It can even lie down completely. The suction cup on the base holds the mount securely. It has never fallen off during the drive. It also provides an anti-slip strap to be installed on the front side of the dish. That prevents the dish from shaking when driving on bumpy roads.

Setting it up took almost no time. I liked that the instructions were clear, and I didn’t have to deal with tools or complicated steps. It was straightforward, and once it was on my dashboard, it felt like it was there to stay. This mount holds my Starlink Mini exactly how I needed it to. It was really easy to set up and has not budged ever since. Even on bumpy roads, there is no shifting. The size is perfect, not too bulky but strong enough to keep everything in place. I like that it keeps my dashboard looking neat instead of cluttered like some others. Plus, it makes traveling so much less stressful knowing my equipment is secure. The grip is strong without damaging anything, especially the dashboard material. The adjustments are also really easy to change and it is at an ideal angle too. This mount is just what I needed. It is super convenient, works excellently, and has a great design for adjustment.

It attaches firmly to smooth surfaces or is used with the adhesive pads necessary for installation. There’s also a thoughtful silicone strip to prevent slipping, which I modified by cutting it in half and placing it in each corner to suit my dashboard layout better. Once I cleaned the surface, I just pressed the mount, locked the suction cup, and secured it within seconds.Speaking of suction—the suction power is awe-inspiring.
