This rack and the Starlink Mini that was attached to it survived 10 days in Baja. On road, off-road and whatever else Baja had to throw at it... it survived. I used some Blue thread locker because the included hardware and design really didn't look like it would stay together without it. It's easy to assemble and easy to remove...And because I wasn't initially confident in this mounts ability to hold up to off-road use I secured a furniture safety strap to the Starlink and to the vehicle. If you are looking for a backup to possibly prevent loss check out the furniture safety cable with adhesive mounts available on Amazon. Apparently they are widely used to prevent furniture from toppling over or TV's from getting knocked off tables. They make a great Starlink safety strap too!Installation really couldn't be easier. Attach the mount to the vehicle. Attach the Starlink Mini to the mount.
