I used this to add steering angle to my Yikong YK4103 and it works great

Pure junk! What kind of gimmick are yall trying to run here!? Absolutely no way to hook up the steering link! I can't use these!

These are a lot tougher than the factory links on the redcat, but is it really that much of a hassle to thread the plastic end links? No matter how hard I press I can't get them to thread on. Won't be buying these again.

All I got was the panhard and some random short piece. Not cool

After breaking the steering linkage I was looking at replacements and this fit the bill. The plastic is glass reinforced and the metal is stainless. This also put the steering arm down to the knuckle vs half way in the middle of the link. Less bump steer and stronger imo.

You can tell the negative reviews are from people that have never worked on a car. The threads on one side are reverse... These work great for my Redcat gen8 v2.

Big upgrade from the stock steering on my redcat gen8- strength seems pretty good too. I wheel it hard on 2.2s and it holds up so far (4 months in)

Those definitely thicker and heavy duty. The link ends are not threaded so you have to manually thread them. Hold tight and straight to not have crooked threads. The bent link ends go on the main break across the axle, is odd, but they sit better if you mount them not at the angle of the rod, but opposite. This gives better length from eye to eye and you won't have to screw them off a bit to get rid of toe in. There's plenty of clearance on the diff cover, so you don't lose steering angle. This out allows my steering to max out the portals and axles geometry so you get all you can from the redcat setup. You definitely need at least 8mm (+3mm) wheel hexes to clear the link on the passenger side and not rub your tire. I have the 8mm hexes and get some rubbing when the tires are squished down, but fortunately it isn't common the top of the tire is squished...There were 2 drawbacks that I want expecting.First was the main rod was not bent on both ends on the same plane. You can see in the pics that both sides won't sit flat on a table. (First 2 pics)Second was the slop in the main link. The stock uses a king bushing instead of a ball to help this. You can listen one of the link ends a bit to lessen the amount of slop, but if bumped, can spin and loosen up again.

I ordered these steering links because I didn't like how the stock tie rod hit the pumpkin on the axle, not realizing that these are pretty much the same thing as the Club 5 Husky Links, which doesn't really matter to me, I am just pointing that out.The tie rod has a bend in it and it definitely misses the pumpkin now, probably by a good 0.5 cm at least. This added a couple degrees to the turning angle, not as much as I had hoped. This set up also moves the drag link attachment point further to the right. So to use these links you MUST have extended wheel hubs. I have +8mm hexes and SSD bead locks which also have several mm of extension and the new links just barely miss rubbing on the tire. The other bent rod is for the panhard bar and the other straight drag link, the 65 mm one, is used if you use the Club 5 servo relocation mount. I didn't bother using the included panhard bar, no need, they look pretty much the same. Also note, you cannot turn on the rod ends all the way, the tie rod will be too short. I think I was two turns short of all the way in on both sides so there is a little gap, which might bother some people. Finally, this did nothing for the bump steer, it doesn't claim that in the description, I am just saying.
