Ha e you found a hole in any of your walls that mice can fit through? If so, this is the perfect item. This kit comes with 2 rolls of steel wool. Each roll is 3 2" wide by 22.5' long. Thankfully it comes with gloves and a pair of scissors. Gloves are important as steel wool will cut up your hands pretty fast. All you do is cut a piece of the strip off that's a little larger than your hole and stuff it in. I personally like to close the hole after inserting the steel wool into the hole. Mice eat through a lot of different material, generally speaking they won't eat through stainless steel. You can also use some smaller pieces in your fireplace to simulate flames if you plan on having a fake fire display in your place.

This steel wool packs into cracks easily and keeps pests out without crumbling. The included gloves and scissors are a nice bonus. Handy for both patching gaps and scrubbing rusty tools.Personally I used it under my front porch to seal up some gaps where mice were getting in to the crawlspace.Pro tip - Steel Wool/Hardware Cloth, then covered in expanding foam... that combination will keep out anything. Including rats....ask me how I know.... lol

Exactly as advertised. Good basic steel wool for more than just keeping the rodents out. Easy to break off small pieces to stuff into the gaps to keep the mice away.

Two decent sized rolls in the box along with scissors and gloves. You cut and shape for the opening you need to block.

I picked up this Steel Wool Mice Fabric Roll for some DIY fixes around the house, and it’s been surprisingly useful! The thick, interwoven fibers make it great for blocking gaps and cracks, especially for keeping pests out. It’s also handy for cleaning rusty tools—I used it on an old garden spade, and it worked wonders. The kit comes with gloves and scissors, which is a nice touch for easy handling. Just be prepared for a bit of shedding when cutting it. Overall, it’s a versatile and effective solution for home repairs and maintenance!

Okay. Probably not the lowest price. I've purchased similar quality cheaper at discount hardware stores. In my use it is gaming I to a plastic to stone trim joint to prevent bats from getting into the attic.

It's really nice having the steel wool in rolls instead of having to tear steel wool pads apart. It is handy to shove into cracks and holes to keep mice out. i used steel wool on holes before but didn't know it was available like this to plug cracks. I also used it to keep chipmunks out that had found an entrance along the joint of a corner.
