Changing engine oil can be messy, time consuming and it is difficult to dispose of old oil. The LiquiVac is a user friendly and an environmentally safe oil changing system. It is fast, convenient and eliminates mess and clean-up. The LiquiVac works by creating a powerful vacuum that draws the used oil out of the engine and into a holding tank for easy disposal to a recycling center. Simply insert the extraction hose into the dipstick tube, pump the handle 40 times, open the cap’s valve and LiquiVac extracts the oil directly into its plastic holding tank. It works great for boats, cars, trucks--and small engines too.

Quickly change the oil in large engines--works with small engines too
Cars and Trucks Oil Change

The LiquiVac Oil Changing System for Large Projects and Engines makes car oil changes quick, clean, and easy. This is especially true with hard to access drain plugs found in large engines.

An average car or truck takes approximately 8-10 minutes to extract the oil, and without a mess. The Large Engine/Project Model comes with a special narrow suction hose to fit dipstick tubes of boats, cars, and light trucks. Plus, its tank has an 8 quart capacity allowing the user to make multiple oil changes of small engines too.

Boats

The LiquiVac innovative design makes it easier to change the oil in engines such as boats with inaccessible drain plugs. The Large Engine/Project Model comes with a special narrow suction hose to fit dipstick tubes to make your 4-cycle outboard oil change and inboard oil change easy. Also, don’t forget the LiquiVac makes boat transmission changes very easy.

Small Engines: Lawnmowers, Generators, Power Washers, Snow Throwers, and More

Small engines seem to be the most ignored engines that a consumer owns. This has occurred because there are consumers who have their car oil serviced at the quick lube places. And, have entirely forgotten that all the small engines in their garages need their oil changed too. Unfortunately this neglect can be very costly since these engines run very hard and in dusty conditions, which can lead to dirty, grimy oil and, eventually, engine breakdowns.

With the LiquiVac small engine oil changes are a snap. This vacuum is powerful enough to extract used oil out through the dipstick/fill tube in just 14 seconds. (Extraction time is based on the typical 4-cycle engine containing 1 quart of oil). With this kind of powerful performance and ease of use the LiquiVac Small Engine Model takes maintenance on 4-cycle engines super simple.

And, have entirely forgotten that all the small engines in their garages need their oil changed too. Unfortunately this neglect can be very costly since these engines run very hard and in dusty conditions, which can lead to dirty, grimy oil; and, then engine breakdowns.

But, now there’s a simple, fast and clean way to change your lawn and garden equipment’s oil. It’s the LiquiVac Oil Changing System. With the LiquiVac oil changes are a snap. The LiquiVac Small Engine Model works by creating negative pressure, or vacuum power in the tank by pumping the tank handle. Each pump stroke takes air out of the tank creating a vacuum. Just 20 quick pump strokes creates vacuum power in the tank. This vacuum is powerful enough to extract used oil out through the dipstick/fill tube with the release of the suction hose clamp, in just 14 seconds. (Extraction time is based on the typical 4-cycle engine containing 1 quart of oil). With this kind of powerful performance and ease of use the LiquiVac Small Engine Model takes maintenance on 4-cycle engines very easy. Perfect for lawn mowers, lawn & garden tractors, tillers, generators, snow throwers, ATVs and outboard motors as well as.

Large Project/Engine Model

It is called the Large Project/Engine Model for a reason. Its 8 quarts capacity is large enough to handle several oil changes at one time, without recycling/emptying it. For example you can change your boat engine and several small engines in one session. Because of this, many do-it-yourself people love to knock out their oil change projects in one fell swoop. They can do it fast, without the mess. Plus, the Large Project and Large Engine Model works great for large engines such as hard to change boats (inboards and outboards), trucks, and cars too. It is also very handy for to change transmission oil and hydraulic fluids too.

The 4r100 in the 99-03 Ford trucks have a very long dipstick tube that is also the fill tube for the transmission. This was able to fit down the tube an remove some transmission fluid very easily. If you need to remove any amount of fluid from something and either can't or don't want to drain it this is tool for the job.

Like many of the other reviewers, I had to spend 30 minutes with a mill file on both sealing surfaces to get it to hold any vacuum. The design is decent, but production quality is abysmal. If they only spent a few minutes on quality control, added a delrin guide to the shaft and used better materials for the shaft itself (in all, likely $3 of investment) they would have a great product. With that, I can't recommend this product, regardless of how neat it looks just sitting there. The vertical pump style is a far more proven and reliable design and is actually much easier to use, even if it is bulkier and requires longer plumbing to work. My guess, this thing will work for 2-3 oil changes before the inner surface of the pump is ruined by the metal grinding away inside the pump assembly. Update: the hoses are too flexible and pinch closed due to vacuum and modern high-viscosity oils. Does not work for any applications using 5w30, 0w-20 and definitely any gear oils. Discarded after one attempted use. Modified to zero (0) stars. Pure rubbish.

I bought the pump to change oil in a couple of small engines that are otherwise hard and messy to change. I bought the device in April 2015 but did not use until recently (July 2015) when it was time to service both engines. On the first oil change it worked flawlessly and made the job 10x easier which made me very happy. However, on the second oil change the pump handle pulled off after only 10 pumps, which 20-30 pumps is recommended for small engines. Clearly the handle should stay on better than that. I tried to push the knob back into place, but after a few more pulls it just came off again. I had to use pliers and hold the handle end from coming off to finish the job. I will say operationally the LiquiVac worked and made the job less messy. However, durability wise it does not hold up at least in my case. I am a mechanic and take good care of my stuff and the device was stored in my home before use, so dust, heat, or cold, played no part making the handle to become weak. I have sent an inquiry to the company as the warranty is only for 30 days, so we will see what happens. Personally I can not recommend this unit and would suggest buying a more expensive unit if you plan on keeping and using it more than twice.....Update....7/23/2015..Air Power returned my email within 24 hours and said they would send out replacement parts for free as the handle should have not failed. A few days later as promised a new handle showed up and the pump is once again working perfectly. I would definitely buy again from Air Power as they stand behind their product which in my case was clearly outside the warranty period. If your looking for a good little pump to service your lawnmowers, or any other small engine quickly without all the mess, pick up a LiquiVac, you will be glad you did.

I was a little skeptical that this would work well for changing the oil in my TDI, but with the costs of oil changes for the TDI vehicles I figured I would give it a try. To get under my car would have been a nightmare, including taking off the bottom skid plate before draining out the oil. It seemed that pumping it out would most likely be worth the first time expense, and I was not disappointed. I read the directions, watched a video on Youtube (the only way to really learn anything) and went out and did an oil change in about 20 minutes.Following the directions on was easy. Close the inlet valve, pump it 40 times. Stick the tube (with the included dip stick extension) down the oil dip stick. Then slowly open the inlet valve, less than 10 minutes later the oil was all out (about 4.5 liters). When I heard it starting to slurp I closed the valve, added some more pumps (vacuum) and worked it around to try to slurp up any extra oil in the oil pan. I then did the same in the cartridge that holds the oil filter. The pump did exactly what it was supposed to and did it relatively fast I would say. Now I am looking at my lawn mower thinking it could use an oil change.
