I set this up in a medium-size room with in-wall Polk Audio RC55i passive speakers. The results are quite good for an amplifier at this price point. I used some MP3 test tracks and music for testing, and the audio quality is great. Actually the audio quality with this unit is better than any of the previous small amplifiers I have tested. I've been through half a dozen so far, mostly similarly priced units that use the typical class D amplifier chips. I am not sure the type of amplifier final stage used in this unit, since I have not opened it up to inspect the board. In any case, performance of this unit is great: No background noise if you turn volume up full with no input; plenty of volume while playing content, good frequency response and no discernible distortion while playing at volume. It's compact in size and runs cool.In my application I will only be using the Aux input, to which I have connected an AirPlay adapter. I appreciate that this unit plays from the last-used input (Aux) when it is turned on, either from standby mode with the wireless remote or even after main power has been off and turned back on. So this is a good amp to use if you are setting up a whole-home audio system where you have amps like this with their own dedicated AirPlay endpoints in each room.Tested the FM and Bluetooth input modes and both work well. My only small gripe is the usability of FM tuner, requiring that you scan for stations and then click through the saved stations. No big deal once you've done the scan.

We are building a house and we wired outside speakers for our patio and porch. The audio guy wanted $1,500 for an amp, and I picked this amp as a cost saving alternative. Ironically this amp has more features than the expensive fancy amp that our audio guy was trying to sell us.Bottom line, great value, lots of features, works well, and I can confidently recommend. 👍

Paired this with my old Realistic speakers. Best of both worlds. This is a relatively small, very functional amp that seems like it should cost twice or more than it does. I attached a pair of huge 50 year old high quality speakers and cranked up the sound as loud as I could stand it, and there was no distortion! As you can see in my pics, it's small, but packed with features. I suppose if you are a serious audiophile with a super discerning ear, you could tell that this is not a $300 amp. For the rest of us, the sound quality from this is phenomenal. This one is also very versatile... I easily connected it to my iPhone via Bluetooth. Of course it also has the standard audio jack input among other things. At this price you can't go wrong and will love the clear undistorted sound it puts out.

It is small, lightweight, with lots of features. The sound is excellent with plenty of power, and little to no distortion or background noise. It has multiple options for input, including 2 mic jacks. We have an off grid cabin and this is the perfect unit for that place. It even has an optional 12 volt input jack. You can hard wire the speakers and use the Bluetooth feature for input from any device. It has a nice remote, a household AC cord, and an external FM antenna. As I write this the price is $33 which is fantastic. This is a great little amplifier at a fantastic price.

Hard to believe how much power it has. Using in my garage with Polk bookshelf speakers sounds great.
