When worn, this United States Flag tie features white stars on a blue background in the knot and for the upper 1/3 of the tie. To complete the patriotic red white and blue look, the lower 2/3rds are red and white stripes. The entire tie has a slight jaquard texture in the fabric background. I am a teacher and church organist who regularly wears ties when I dress for work. I am known for my rather eclectic collection of ties in various patterns, including designs for every major holiday. Purchased Nov 2015 for my husband who is a charter coach driver. Company colors are red, white & blue so the US flag is professionally perfect. He likes the vibrant colors, silky feel and length. It especially looks nice on a white shirt. Glad I purchased it for him. He wore it the next day.
