Your cart is empty.The 2009 International Mechanical and International Residential Code now require a permanent label showing a duct runs' equivalent length. PLAC34 is a nationally recognized solution that meets code requirements and makes it easier to use the dryer manufacturer's maximum allowed run-length. Made to last, the 3" X 4" Dryer Placard label is a .010" thick Lexan velvet-textured polycarbonate. This is the same material used to make bullet proof windows and is very difficult to mar. Its 3M 9471 pressure sensitive adhesive sticks permanently to a wide variety of surfaces. This label is generally applied on the baseboard or wall in proximity to the wall outlet or in the Dryerbox receptacle if one exists. ICC Code Sections IMC 504.8.5 and IRC 1502.4.6: "Length identification. Where the exhaust duct is concealed within the building construction, the equivalent length of the exhaust duct shall be identified on a permanent label or tag. The label or tag shall be located within 6 feet (1829mm) of the exhaust duct connection."
