I love this small, zippered pouch to store emergency medical info in.I have one in my Service Dog’s pack for me and my ailing Dad, and my kiddos. I also keep one in each glove compartment of all the vehicles we drive.Instead of using the brochure that came in these — which is great if you only want to use it for one pouch — I created emergency info in an MS Word document I can regularly update easily.I included family contact numbers, lists of medications and dosages, doctors’ contact info, Veterinarian’s contact info, copies of the fronts and backs of the driver’s license, insurance cards, and Service Dog registrations and handler ID cards.Note: ADA does not require Service Animals to have registrations or certificates, nor does ADA require handler or Service Dog IDs. If someone asks me, I’ll show them, but I explained that it isn’t required by ADA law.I bought the larger, letter-sized pouches with magnets for each family member, and affixed them to the inside of our front door, because our door is magnetic, but, mysteriously, our refrigerator door is not.I can’t tell you how many times I’ve pulled out this info — when the paramedics came twice for my father, when I had to run my daughter to the ER, and a whole bunch of times when filling out medical forms for regular doctor visit.
